Unearthed Arcana Warrior

I have been on this site quite a few times while asking google questions about D&D. Hopefully someone can help me with some of the questions I have.

I'm currently playing a Gestalt campaign where I'm a Goliath Psychic Warrior/Warrior (Unearthed Arcana) and I am confused as to my full options for Bonus feats for the Warrior.

First thing is am I entitled to take any of the abilities that are listed such as Sneak Attack, Evasion and such for a bonus feat? They are listed above the section just before going into the more generic character classes.

Secondly it's my understanding that I may take either Fighter Bonus feats or Barbarian abilities as long as I am the required level or above. If I took let's say Rage at level 4 Warrior do I need to start at Rage/1 day then use another feat to gain Rage/2 day or would it be at that point Rage/2 day and keep stacking every 4 levels without me using bonus feats?

Here is an excerpt of the chapter of Unearthed Arcana here if anyone would like to look and attempt to help me understand. D&D Unearthed Arcana Based CLASS Trinity

Yes you can as long as you meet the prereqs. For example, you need a base reflex save of +3 to take evasion.

It looks to me that the Fighter feats or Barbarian abilities option is one that the author of that page added for his or her campaign.

As a DM I would probably have the character get Rage 1/day at whatever level he/she used the feat to get it. I would lean toward having the increase to rage/2 per day (and so on) be automatic every 4 levels without having to burn a feat each time. That may be too powerful for one feat though.

You probably need to discuss the above with your DM.

Thanks,
Rich

Thank you for the insight. The DM when we started this campaign asked me to make the craziest character I could possibly think of for his campaign and just surprise him as I progress. I want to make sure I make the most of my character with careful planning.

My Goliath uses a Large Glaive and has a feat to hit adjacent enemies. I use Expansion and augment it for 10 mins per level and line everything up with attack of opportunity feats such as Deft Opportunist. I plan to be able to take AoO's if weapons are drawn or 5 ft steps are taken while levitating in the air so I'll be super hard to hit.

I wanted to look into the Barbarian stuff because I want to later on take Damage reduction but first Uncanny dodge so I can wear light armor and not take sneak attacks obviously.

How is wielding a glaive and spending a feat to use it on people next to you better than spending a feat on a weapon that can hit people close to you in the light of Knockdown?

Later on getting Cleave and when I erase people with AoO damage I can make an additional free attack on someone in reach of my threatened range.
