Unfettered class and agil exotic weapons

Question

When converting to 3.5, is it reasonable to consider the elven thin/light blades as agile exotic weapons?

On that note has anyone done a 3.5 conversion for arcana unearthed yet?

Not quite, because most of the agile exotic weapons aren't more damaging than comparable martial weapons: they tend to have other benefits, like enabling unorthodox combat options or being lighter. I'd represent an elven thinblade as a devanian dire rapier, or something like that.

Yep. Arcana Evolved is completely compatible with the 3.5 rules, insofar as Arcana Unearthed was compatible with 3.0.

Arcana evolved is a differnet book, yes? Theres no update to arcana evolved from arcana unearthed?
I don't know if or what kind of updates are available, but you might want to check on Malhavoc Press' site for Arcane Evolved: http://www.montecook.com/cgi-bin/page.cgi?arcanaevolved

Thematically, I think they are Exotic (Agile) weapons.
Comrade raoul might be right that it is unusual for agile weapon to deal more damage, but it makes more sense to have elven weapons being agile. (On the other hand, the Swordstaff is heavy, too, and its basically the Two-Bladed Sword and also seems an "elfy" weapon :) )
