One of the classes I teach did a Survivor:NYC parady once

and we got to thinking - if you dropped a group of country hicks from New Zealand in the middle of New York with no money and ask them to survive for a week, it might actually be good TV

I'd find it interesting to see a bunch of New Yorkers dropped in my little hick hometown for an episode of Survivor: MacGregor (Manitoba, Canada). I barely made it out alive and I grew up there.

Besides, there is only one true Survivor, (to quote Diaglo) all others are pale imitations:
