Unpolite and happy about it! UPDATED 11/04/05

Recognizing you're from Germany, and English might not be your native tongue...

I think the term you want is "bug", not "bugger". "Bug" means "annoy," and by context, it sounds like that's what you mean. "Bugger", while not entirely inapplicable, does have other, naughtier connotations...

I dunno, sounds like this other dude is buggering up the group pretty handily!

Hehe. I read what he said as Eternal Cyric. Had to blink a couple of times and read it again to see Cynic.

The muffin incident amazes me. I've occasionally seen person open a bag of chips and slowly eat through the and several hours later when someone else wants a chip and realizes the person ate them, we're like 'wow', but it's not like it's always one person, cause I've been guilty of that too. Blatantly saying 'No' however, that's just...extreme. I don't know what else to say.

The BBQ incident isn't QUITE so bad because I can understand if someone doesn't have enough money for extra extravagent food, though generally the person's like 'You don't mind if I have some, right?' or someone else offers food for the person. [I think nearly everyone in our group has had a time when they couldn't afford anything, so it's split between all of us, albeit not equally. We're all friends though, so it doesn't matter quite as much].

:o

Ah, ok. No, I don't think that the other interpretation could ever be appropriate. And, of course, I conform to the "no offensive content" rule, right? :)

Wow...just.....wow....If it wasn't for the fact that this was a serious topic, I'd be laughing out loud at it. It almost sounds like a really bad online gamer strip situation!

In our group, whenever we have a BBQ/party, everyone brings something...even if it's a 99 cent large bag of plain chips. It's just good manners.

But yes....the muffin incident would be enough for me to throw a referee's flag onto the field and have him ejected on the spot for Extreme Piggishness.

And this topic has given me an idea.... :)

Well, the guy is 180cm tall and weighs about 50kg. I don't know where all that food goes. Maybe it adds on my waist....the bastard! ;)
in conversion terms...

that's 70.8 inches... 5 ft 10.8 inches

and like 110 lbs.

he is a bean pole.

This whole incident supports a theory of mine. My theory is that MOST people in life have SOMETHING going for them. Categorizing this broadly, they are attractive, competent or pleasant. I've met many people who are at least two and a few who are all three. I very rarely meet a person who is ugly, incompetent and rude. When I do, I avoid that person.

Because the gods obviously hate them.

For Frank's sake, I'm hoping that he's a good looking guy. But I still wouldn't game with him.

It's threads like these which make me ever more sure that I'm incredibly lucky with the people I've met as a gamer. As a lot of people have said - Wow!

I know what you mean. But this isn't even a gaming issue. This guy is "complete ass" as someone said. And in my game, after the muffin incident, he'd have been lucky with just getting kicked out of the house. :\

No, he is not good looking. Not even slightly below average. Which makes those of us that hate muffin-stealin people gods, right? ;)

Such a quandry - hard to find gamers, and then when you do, you get bozos ... but in the end, there's no point in gaming if you have to put up with that nonsense.
