Unveiled Masters Good stuff!!
I can only afford to selectively buy anything and when it comes to DnD very little outside the three core books and CoC D20. But when I do, I research the reveiws on the publishers and the product.
I have to say the Unveiled Masters is a excellent purchase, if you like the Illithids/ Mindflayers for use in your game and from a collectors stand point this will be the first and last non WotC product to be allowed to publish anything on the Mind Flayers. ( That is quoted from a board, and who can tell what changes may come.)
The alien culture of the Mind Flayers is developed for use and this gives an oportunity to better use these nasty mothers in a game. Rules, spells and classes! The added bonus is the product interlink between Plot and Poison ( Drow) and The Unveiled Masters ( Illithids) the potential of the use of those two products is ...EVILISSIOUS

I'll admit, I bought the book because of the collector value (whether it will become a collector item is another story). I like the book...nasty stuff in there to spring on PCs who wander into Illithid areas. If you like Illithids, or want to twist them so your players don't know what to expect, definately a good book to own.
