Well, the fact that Affleck has said he has no plans to reprise the role sure isn't helping the sequel get a green light anytime soon, regardless of the Elektra flick.

If Smith's Green Hornet goes well I could see him directing the Daredevil sequel. Affleck would sign on to that in a heartbeat.

Good point, but considering how many peopel hate Affleck on priniciple, it might help in the long run

I should also chime in on the Werewolf By Night discussion, he also made a reappearance in the "Midnight Sons" titles (a time when they relaunched Dr. Strange, Ghost Rider, Spirits of Vengeance (a team composed of Ghost Rider and Johnny Blaze, and later the manifestation of Zarathos himself), Nightstalkers (Hannibal King, Frank Drake, and Blade), Darkhold (the Darkhold Redeemers), and Morbius' own series. I believe Werewolf By Night was resurrected for a few issues. At any rate, the character was definitely in the storylines.
