It doesn't get the bulk sales benefit like the 5E books do, I suppose.

They’re third party sellers. Amazon doesn’t get 2e books from WOtC and OneBookShelf. They have their own PoD service, CreateSpace, that vendors can use to sell PoD books. Basic Fantasy for example is available on Lulu and on Amazon but with Amazon it’s a CreateSpace printing, actually higher quality.

I misunderstood, amd thought it was PF2E prices under discussion.
