I don't see any reason for LU to update in response to 5.5e.
That said, I do think the edition could use its own "sprucing edition", as there are a lot of typos, various issues, and a decent amount of power adjustment that could happen in LU.
But I mean doing a kick-starter for a small publisher is a major effort, would such a thing really be worth going to all the that trouble? My completely amateur gut opinion says no.
