URGENT HELP: Gaming Session in 2 Hours

Hiya all
I have a gaming session in 2 hours, and just realised that I have no way to work a map. I have the battle grid from the back of the DMG, miniatures and the maps I plan to use on small scale (I'm running There Is No Honour from the Savage Tide in Dungeon magazine). Now, I see that I have two options:

1. Use the Battle Grid and Miniatures, and then have the shrunk-down maps on display for people to see. That way, the grid only acts as a blow-up view of the map, but without any detail.
2. Get string etc and set it out on the map as I go.

Please help, what are your suggestions?

I see no need for a large map at this point. Here's a secret..if you don't tell them that you thought you needed one, I bet they won't even ask.

Just bring it next time. If someone does ask then tell them it's a good idea and bring it to the next session.

you have the battle maps..the rest is fluff.

I have been running the Ziggurat dungeon from Grasp of the Emerald Claw, the thing is HUGE!! The main map is set with 20' squares :( So what I did was draw up a map at the scale of 1inch = 20' with details and hung it up on the wall, the players point to where they want to go and if they encounter anything I will use more graph paper to draw out the encounter areas, works great imo. Hope that helps.

Cheers,
E
