This room features painfully narrow stairways going both up and down. The walls are bare and unadorned, and the stairways plain, both facts standing in stark contrast to anything else you've seen of this house.

Gildrim steps to the end of the passageway and tries the door at the end.

OOC: I vote we open all the doors on this floor starting with the bottom left corner and the working our way round clockwise. From my perspective Erf just wants to clear the floor, searching in detail can wait.

The door opens easily under Gildrim's hand, and opens to a circular room with doors heading in each of the cardinal directions. The ceiling of this room is high and rounded, and the walls and ceiling have been painted with an enormous panoramic scene of a burning city, with red-eyed, bat-winged creatures circling above it.
