Urn Your Pay (Rae judging)

"The snake 'n' the other grig, but he's hidin' up there somewhere." Erf replies, "Kshatrya's onboard, she just shot the grig where it 'urts if his squeals 'r any indication!"

HP 25/25, AC 20 (if i'm not wrong)

The world is a much stranger place, when you're used to walking tall. It reminds Ter-raen of the time when he was younger, when the meat buns that looked so big suddenly became so small as he grew up; how the tall door that towered over him suddenly became another simple obstacle to brush away. Now, reduced to the size of Erf, Ter-raen finds himself experiencing these feeling once again. He would like a little more time to reminisce of the past, if it weren't for the snake trying to bite him!

Chibi-Ter-raen attacks! (1d20+6)=12 and misses I suppose... (1d4+3)=7

Fenenn snaps at the snake again getting a grip and raking his teeth through scale before it manages to writhe from his jaws.

Erf steps up and heals the wolf hound, delivering a reassuring pat.

"Wow! Ter-raen, ye're, proper sized!" The little gnome exclaims in astonishment.

[sblock=Hit 24, 4 Damage, Fenenn healed 9]1d20+5=24, 1d6+3=4 See last post for cure light. [/sblock]

Round 7, continued

Ter-raen takes a moment to marvel at his new viewpoint before attacking the snake. His somewhat absent-minded attack is easily dodged by the writhing reptile.

Gildrim arrives on the scene, rather confused, until Erf explains the current situation to him.

Round 8

Erf steps up and heals Fenenn, delivering a reassuring pat. Reinvigorated, Fenenn rakes the snake with his powerful jaws, drawing blood.

The grig screeches, "You've ruined everything, gnome! I'm going to kill you, shrink your skull, and wear it for a codpiece!" He waves his hands and mutters, and conjures a blob of seething yellow acid that flies at Erf, raising smoking welts on Erf's skin. (2 damage)

Kshatrya fires at the grig again, a look of concentration on her green face. The bolt nicks him, but bounces off his magically resistant skin without doing harm.

The snake continues to attack Ter-raen, but, lighter and more agile, Ter-raen easily dodges. (miss)

Erf realizing he is somewhat impotent in this situation decides to attempt to keep the Grig's attention on himself, and hopefully coax him into doing something stupid.

"There isn't a shrinking spell that powerful, err, Hoppy! No wonder you, err, needed to find a girl who didn't know who you were, or what you look like! I've seen bigger grasshoppers, and brighter ones."

Turning his back to the Grig the little gnome whispers to Ter-raen,

"Throw yer spear at 'im, Fenenn'll handle the snake!"

[sblock=Action for Gildrim]I would suggest that Gildrim attempts to trip the little bugger with his whip. So he would drop his shield move over and draw his whip then strike...

Sadly if he does so he misses 1d20+4=7, 1d20+3=16.[/sblock]

HP 25/25, AC 20

"Throw spear?" Ter-raen looks at his spear, shorter and lighter than before, even though it looks about the same to his eyes. Not sure why the gnome would want him to do that, he just does so and marvels a bit as the spear starts expanding back to become taller than him as the stick of wood leaves his hands! "OH!"

Attack (1d20+6)=21, Damage (1d6+3)=8

Round 8, continued

Ter-raen hurls a spear at the grig, cutting a bloody furrow in one of its gossamer wings and sending it fluttering to the ground with a despairing cry. It is alive, but helpless. The snake attempts to bite him as he takes his eyes off of it for a moment, but its teeth fail to find purchase. (AoO misses)

Gildrim, seeing the grig fallen, drops his spare grig and reaches for his longsword instead of his whip and attacks the snake. With a mighty two-handed blow, he severs the beast's spine. It thrashes briefly, spraying blood all over the grass, then lies still. (ooc: confirmed crit, 19 total damage. rolls 1 2

"An' tha's hae it's doon," Gildrim says, panting slightly.
