Round 2, continued
Ter-raen takes a quick look around at the situation, and if he weren't holding a scimitar in his hand he would have slapped his own forehead in frustration.
Bad move! But seeing that now he has no space to squeeze with the dwarf, Ter-raen shouts
"Ter-raen ready!" and gets ready to move back into the narrow corridor when the dwarf gives him a little space.
Gildrim contrives to turn his growl into a wordless chorus as he heads back along the passage to Erf. Ter-raen follows him, and the party wait in the ballroom for the centipedes to follow.
Erf fires off a sling stone aiming for the an injured one and is surprised to see it strike home again, very nearly killing one. Pleased, he holds Fenenn ready for when the centipedes come forward.
They do. The first centipede through the door is an uninjured one, who strikes at Erf, but the chitinous jaws find only
air. The other centipedes swarm impatiently in the corridor.

I think Gildrim's singing is somewhere between Kalevala chant and Tuvan khoomei/kargyraa.
