Urn Your Pay (Rae judging)

As Gildrim concentrates, a delicate gold necklace rises into the air from among the broken glass shards.

[sblock=prestidigitation]I couldn't be bothered to go back and look to see what all has happened since G cast it, so I rolled to see if it was. Turns out it's still active, though we'll say that it expires when you guys move on to the next room.[/sblock]

"Tak hauld, than," says Gildrim. When Ter-raen or Erf seize the floating chain, he turns his attention to the next item... and so on.[sblock=OOC]Fair enough.[/sblock]

Erf grabs the items as they come and disperses them amongst the party, he will aim to spread the wealth as evenly as possible placeing his own share in Fenenn's saddle bags.

"Wow, look at all that shiny stuff Fenenn! Ye know people pay money fer it, what would ye rather 'ave this or a pie? Cause with that little thing ye could buy a hundred pies!" He comments to the obviously bored Fenenn.

Between Gildrim's magic and Erf's eager hands, the jewelry is soon transferred into packs.

ooc: I assume you guys are going to continue with not worrying about treasure division just yet?

"Juist in time," says Gildrim as he feels the magic fading.

"Ah still want tae tak a leuk ahind thaes likenesses." He moves around the room, inspecting the subject of each portrait for resemblance to their employer Alvar Thorne (with little expectation that he'd recognise any, even if it were there to see). He gives each portrait a tug to see if it's attached to the wall firmly and will peer behind any that can be lifted free.

One all the jewelery has been gathered up and Gildrim has finished his examination of the paintings Erf will move over and open the other door in though room where they fought the centipedes (L23).

OOC: Works for me. Personally I always prefer having a system in place so that wealth distribution is even, but I realize a lot of people do not and I certainly have no objection to sorting it out once the adventure is concluded.

The next door Erf opens leads into a room that is the twin of the round room encountered earlier, save that where that room's walls were painted with scenes of fiends flying above a burning city, this room is decorated with celestial creatures cavorting over a placid countryside. On one hillside you can make out the outlines of a familiar looking house.

Doors lead to the south and east.

OOC: Wasn't there something hidden in the devil room? I think so. Erf takes 20 on a search for a 22.

Erf steps in after Fenenn and if he sees nothing immediately threatening he thoroughly examines the room searching everywhere and tapping on the panels, etc.

Gildrim watches while the gnome has his fun. After finding nothing behind the hanging portraits, he's had it with secret compartments for a while.
