Used bookstores online?

I remember a while back someone posted a link to this reall cool site that basicly was a collection of tons of used bookstores across the country... you entered the book you wanted, it listed the stores that sold it, you selected the one you want, and then placed your order. It was really slick, and I used it to find a number of books I hadn't been able to. But I can't find the site anymore. Does anyone know it?

As a former used bookseller, I suggest using www.bookfinder.com. This searches all the major online databases to find the book you're searching for, including ABE, Bookfinder, Amazon, and Alibris, among others.

I'd suggest steering clear of using Alibris directly; while they are trying to build some stock of their own, the majority of their listings come from booksellers who agree to let Alibris list their books on Alibris' website, even books that are already listed on ABE, Bookfinder, etc. Alibris tacks on a 10 to 20 percent fee to the buyer for this "service."
