Greetings.

If you work for, own, or patronize a friendly local game store (or indy bookstore), and you would like to see a new, content-filled hardcover sourcebook on the shelves, this post is for you.

The Amethyst Dragon's Hoard of Everything is a 575-page 5e supplement filled with more than 1,700 creations and ideas for players and DMs. It contains three times the amount of content found in that one Tasha's book that's been around for a few years.

If you are interested in getting wholesale pricing on the book for your store, I invite you to visit amethyst-dragon.com/LGS. On this page, you'll find a preview PDF (29 pages), a summary of included content, information about when the book should be delivered, and links to google forms to fill out if you are interested in ordering.

Filling out one of the forms is not placing an order, but is indicating how many books you would like for your store when it's time to order. Actual ordering will happen once enough interest has been shown for me to make wholesale pricing viable (the goal for this to happen is by mid-July).

If you are a customer of such a store, I would definitely appreciate it if you can ask the store folks about The Amethyst Dragon's Hoard of Everything and tell them where they can get the info (or just show them this QR code). I want to support local stores with this book, so it won't be found on Amazon or in large chain stores.

Have a great day.

When I put together the preview, I tried to include sample pages from most types of content the book contains. I ended up including 5% of the pages.

I will say that the threshold for a wholesale print run is 650 books. At that number, it doesn't cover any of the money (or time) I've invested so far (I'll be running a Kickstarter for that), but it does cover printing cost for those particular books, getting the books to me (from the EU print company), buying shipping materials, and leaving me with a few bucks to hold in reserve for unforeseen expenses that may come up when making this thing a physical reality.

My goal is to get the 3+ pound hardcover into friendly local game (and book) stores and into the hands of players.
