V&V d20 Superhero Class in my D&D game!

Here's my idea for introducing Villians & Vigilantes characters into my cross-genre Shackled City game.

I envision a Superhero class that has d12 hit die, good base attack, good saves, 4 skill points per level, all class skills, a bonus feat at every level, & Improved Unarmed Strike. No weapon or armor proficiencies since comic book characters usually fight with fists or powers, but you could pick up those as feats.

V&V super powers are converted on an ad hoc basis. Most equate pretty directly.

The player bringing in this character will start the PC at 4th level, which feels about right for a beginning super.

I've looked at that stuff, but I have the classic V&V game and really like the feel. I'm not looking to make a superhero game, I just want to try to incorporate a superhero character into my D&D game.

If I were to doa superhero game, I would probably use this method though.

ENpub's Four Color to Fantasy is a good toolkit product for what you're looking at. It's less strait supers, more looking at how to introduce super-heroes to any d20 setting.
