Van Helsing Trailer

It's about the biggest spoiler.

Nobody should be told before reading or watching FotR that Saruman is evil; nobody should be told before reading or watching TTT that Gandalf comes back.
Maybe not, but knowing that in advance doesn't ruin the story. But that's beside the point. The trailer for TTT was brought up as a counter to your assertion that movies always show the best scenes in the previews. TTT didn't.

anyone who buys this is silly.
first, if its a prequel, why not release it BEFORE the movie comes out.
second, paying almost full price for one 30-minute cartoon? um, no.
third, and most importantly, wait for the movie DVD which will either have this short on it, or be packaged with it by most major retailers.

Yeah. It still irritates me when there's a big cliffhanger moment in a film, and the audience is supposed to be thinking "Is that character going to die!?", and instead, they're thinking "Well, we haven't seen that scene with him from the trailer yet, so he must get out of it..."

-Hyp.

And, of course, there are those scenes that are in the trailer that don't make it into the final movie--like the tire hitting the windshield in Twister or Gandalf facing off against the Witch King in RotK.

I like the look of the trailer, my only concern too many monsters. Which are going to get away, Dracula yes, Frank yes...

So, is this how Selene of Underworld is born? :) Kate Beckinsale seems to be making a name for herself in the fantasy movies. :)
