And Archdruid, Archpriest, Archdevils, and probably a lot of other examples. I was just giving a few to make my point, not making a complete list of all uses of "Arch" meaning "Super-duper powerful version of normal creature" in D&D.
I know. I've just always loved the Archmage as a title and wanted to toss it out. ;)
(It is kind of funny that it's not applied to everything, though. There's no "Archbards" or "Archmonks" in D&D.)
Well, monks have traditionally been Grand Masters, and I'm sure @Snarf Zagyg could enumerate all the reasons that the Archbard doesn't exist.

Three things: First, that statue is beyond excellent! Second, how likely could there be a Vecna-themed AP this year that could get announced at the Wizards event? (probably low)

Third, how about a big Vecna AP that gets released with the updated rules for the 50th anniversary?
