Victorian Era D20?

Well what I am looking for is more to Victoriana but its not D20, plus they do want learn a whole new system and Ravenloft which my group does not like the story. Iron Kingdoms to medieval and not enough culture based. My group is keen to D20 than any other system.

That is Fuzion game not D20. Unless they changed it. But from what I saw, its a Fuzion system.

Hi all!

Yes, Victoriana is a Fuzion game. However, the setting book, The Smoke: London, 1867, is a d20 book. At least, that's what it says in the most recent Game Trade Magazine. Here's the text:

This first d20 campaign setting book for Victoriana brings to vivid life the meanest streets in the Victorian world - "The Smoke!" Home to over four million souls, and the single largest metropolis of the Victorian age, the city of London is the heart of the empire, the model of modern industry, and undoubtedly the way of the future. From the Great Exhibition to the St. Giles Rookery, The Smoke is filled with details and maps of every aspect of this gritty metropolis.

Hope that clarifies matters. :)

I think Cthulhu d20 might provide a nice basis for a victorian styled game. You'd have to tinker with the equipment and skill lists but it wouldn't be too much of a modification.

I would love to see a well done Victorian age d20 book as well, possibly with variations on playing it historical, horror, high fantasy, and steampunk. As has been mentioned previously, there are sources of info out there, just not d20. My suggestion: if you know enough about the setting just convert. Probablly from d20 Modern would be easiest. It would just take altering some starting occupations, skills, feat, gear...well a lot of things. But if you talk to your players ahead of time about what kind of characters they would like to play, you can focus you time on those.

Since it has been mentioned, has anyone seen an online review of The Smoke: London, 1867? I tried a search here and came up negative.

You won't find one, as it's not due out until December.

I asked Dustin of Chaosium and he said that book is out of print and was not sure if or when they will do another one.

There is Cthulhu by Gaslight though it is not d20 and it is out of print.

I would like to see a Space 1889 conversion for d20 though.

Monte Cook, who wrote the original and the got the rights back said he might go back to Space 1889.
