Video Game Influences

What do you take from your favorite video games into your tabletop sessions?

I'm about to take the entire game, since I have the Skyrim Official Player's Guide. It's basically a campaign sourcebook. And I expect to offer some actual quests from the game in addition to my home-brewed, PC-specific questline.

Also, if games draw you in, I would recommend avoiding Skyrim. If you go in, you might not come back...
