Not on the big screen, but they finally made a Final Fantasy movie worth watching [Oh DEFINITELY worth watching]. It's called Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Castlevania would be cool, as long as they didn't make it like Van Helsing. Ick, IMO.

Grand Theft Auto is cool enough that a part of me would want a movie, but I have a feeling it would either suck bad or not have the same feel as the games, although it would be neat if they did the whole overhead thing like the first couple.

SHADOWRUN! I'd LOVE to see an awesome Shadowrun. I know there's been other movies in a similar vein, but the SNES game ruled and would love to see an SR movie.

Worms would be funny, watching worms kill each other with different weapons.

I'm not sure how they could make a good Megaman movie [the cartoons were pretty bad], but I've loved the games well enough that if they made a good movie of Megaman, I'd go see it.

Oh yeah, Planescape: Torment would be good. Didn't even think about that until Zappo mentioned it.

Silent Hill

They've already made this movie. It's not out until next year, but it has the potential to be really great. The director was Christophe Gans (Brotherhood of the Wolf) and it was co-written by Roger Avary (Pulp Fiction). Plus, it has Sean Bean. I trust in the Bean.

Max Payne, but only if it kept that dark comicbook feel to it.

But they'd need to find a movie angle. A lot of the fun in that game is
the whole 'It's-Like-I'm-in-a-Videogame' theme. Now, they could always
do 'I-Think-I'm-in-a-Movie', though that's been done before.

Could be fun.

Diablo and Diablo II (yes, with the first one centered around the adventurer that will become the Dark Wanderer).

Warcraft III. If only to see that awesome last image from Frozen Throne in live action.

Lode Runner. Those mad monks are creepy!

Prince of Persia.

Alien vs. Predator (based on the arcade that had Ahnold's character returning).

I'll second a Star Craft movie. That could really be awesome (better than my other wacko ideas anyway).

Star Control II would make a great movie. Why? Because it is excellently written and has a truly moving story.

Wing Commander I and/or II could be made into a solid movie, with kind of a retro, 1950s-movie-about-World-World-Two feel to it. Y'know, introduce the characters; show them in training; show some low-level missions; and then build up to the climactic "boss" mission (assault on K'Tithrak Mang would be a good one).

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is already a better movie than Phanton Menace, so... wishful thinking, but a live action version with the full ILM special effects bonanza would be sweet. Darth Malak is a great villain!
