I just want to deal with this part, as the rest pushes into grey areas that I don't want to deal with at 1:16 am when I'm unable to sleep. Having said that, murder is very easy to recover from in D&D. I remember a thread in Rules a little bit ago on how to actually keep someone killed. It's not very easy.
