Mostly back to generic lager and some "premium" type ales and happy NZ pilsners.

Not much variety atm.

Edmund's Oast Sour Lemon Lime was pretty nice.
(So Lime and Lemon+Lime on the good list, Orange and just Lemon not so far).

Dunkel Weizenbock during a December sunset at the Bierkeller in Columbia, SC. Not as good as their Weissbier, but good.

It's starting to get brisk as the sun goes down, but the last happy hour of the year is starting outside with one of my favorite hefes (accompanied by schnitzel and spaetzel).

Local pub did beer and schnitzel with peppercorn sauce last night for $25 nzd. That's less than $4 usd.

Attempting to expand my range of sours, and so went for a pineapple one. Snafu Brewing Company's "Pineapple Hole in My Soul Whip" was like someone double concentrated a pineapple soda and put it in a sour. (I had missed that it had pineapple puree, pineapple drink mix, and pineapple Italian ice flavor when I bought it...). Pass for me.

So I went to the game store the other day. Then went for a walk. Lots of closed businesses due to the holidays still.

Pub was open. Hot day bit thirsty why not? Order a Killkenny and Old Speckled Hen ale. Bothe were great. Cost $11 usd for both. I've posted Kilkenny before.

I made an old speckled clone once. Was really close to the original but I carb’d mine as I didn’t have nitro.
