I chose sorcerer. I love sorcerers. I have tried so many times to make a hot sorceress. Sadly, the last one took 34 points of damage from a 6d6 fireball trap. /sigh

indeed. problem is that he doesn't always have the right spells for every situation...
(don't mind answering my useless comment...i'm just posting so as to keep the thread on top so that ppl will see it and vote)

Sounds like she was a VERY hot sorceress. At least for the duration of the fireball.

Nope...
Sorry, but we're are trying to keep the rules pretty strict around here...
One has to really have the b**ls to pick Paladin as his #1 choice so as to profit of our excellent offer.
My favorites:
1. Barbarian - Just a class that screams "balls-to-the-wall" awesome action to me.
2. Fighter - I like playing crusty campaigners who use experience and grit to pull through.
3. Rogue - Coming up with ways to get rich is so much fun, and it can drive an adventure most times.
4. Wizard - Honestly only played it a couple times, but had a lot of fun deciding which spells to memorize each day and trying to plan ahead.
That said, there are certain elements that most characters of mine usually lean towards. I like commanding troops/planning strategems and carving out a name for myself in a campaign setting, so my barbarians/fighters usually try to start a free-company or something similar at some point. Helps me get into the setting if I "own" a piece of it. The fighter who does this might pledge himself to a Lord for patronage, the barbarian who does this would more likely use pure chutzpah to accomplish the same end result.
