E-mails from the studio’s motion picture chief Amy Pascal leaked onto the Internet this week by hackers reveal that a follow-up to this year’s comedy hit “22 Jump Street” will have cops played by Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum interacting with the universe of the sci-comedy franchise “Men in Black,” which previously starred Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.

Smith and Jones aren't supposed to be in the flick.

I just read a compilation* of Sherlock Holmes stories that take place in different time periods and one was even fantasy. Holmes was male, female, and once a young girl. I'm fine with it.

Holmes has been Victorian, 50s, and contemporary. No reason he can't be middle-ages too.

But I'd rather Hollywood create cool new legends rather than plundering existing ones over and over. The very idea of yet another Robin Hood interpretation makes me fall asleep. I think I've seen around 7,364 Robin Hoods. Give or take 7,350 or so.

I always thought it would be funny to have a Ghost Whisperer/Supernatural crossover. The conflicting dynamic of trying to help the ghosts and trying to kill the ghosts seems like it would open up some jokes or something.
