First Round of Combat

***PENDRAKE's AND AIKEN'S COMBAT***
COMBAT ONE: (Surprise Round!)
Init: 20 Aiken
Init: 10 Pendrake
Init: 6 Blacklily Guard (Can't act in Surprise Round, Flat-footed) 3 HP remaining!

Aiken tries to make a fast swing at the guard, but is unable to get close in the narrow sidestreet. Pendrake rushes forward and makes a clean slice across the guard's armour. The guard is pushed against the wall, and grits his teeth as the Northman presses upon him. (Pendrake inflicts 8 damage).

The blacklily guard is a bit stunned by the attack, and fumbles at his blade while trying to avoid Pendrake's attacks. He has spotted Aiken, but it doesn't seem that the rogue considers Aiken as much of a threat, right now.

***THREE VS. ONE***
COMBAT TWO: (First Round of Combat)
Init: 19 Blacklily Guard
Init: 11 Mearran
Init: 4 Solange
Init: 3 Cepheus

The blacklily guard, upon seeing the gnome sneak up upon him, draws his blade and feints low. Cepheus is unable to follow the rogue's motions, and exposes himself to the rogue's blade. However, the rogue cannot make an effective stab with his rapier, and the blade pierces the empty air above Ceph's head. The guard doesn't see the other two attackers, and instead focuses on the gnome. How long it will take before he calls out an alarm, though, remains to be seen.

Cepheus' group can take actions.

quote from post 669:
The guard, in an alleyway lined with refuse, turns around.

Pendrake looks about at the rubble strewen in the ally and points to a few places as his idea of hiding the dead lilly.

" you know zis mightenten zee var it could mean to zem, ja?" whispers the warrior.

Cepheus will move forward a bit with hooked hammer ready and call out to the blacklilly Bluff (1d20+2=11) We do not wish to harm you, but will if you force us. Come with us quietly and no harm will come to you.
