Just before Pendrake is able to step away, he thinks he may hear a whispered "Squeak!" coming from the window that nearly killed him.

"Get me out of here, please!" a child's voice whispers harshly. "Call the guard! I'm being kept hostage!"

"Das Vindow! I hear a chilt!" he resists the others helping him to return to the window to look and see if what he hears it true. he will even drag any who will not let him investigate what he had heard!

Aiken Search (1d20 9=29) for traps on the window to see if there are others. If the traps are rigged to the bars instead of the window he'll proceed to open the window normally.
Open Lock (1d20 7=27)
If they are rigged to the window he'll open it in such a way as to not be in the way of the spears.

The window is fine. Peering in, Aiken sees a simple hallway, with a few doors lining it. It is essentially shaped like an "L", with one end disappearing beyond Aiken's vision. He can see three doors.

Behind one of them, he hears the voice repeat. It sounds like... Hukk? "Is there anyone there!?"

 

[Solange]

OOC: Solange has two different healing wands... but as for the restoration effect... I don't recall if it's Solange that has a wand of lesser restoration, or the cleric in our Real-Life Eberron game.

OOC: I have a potion. Sorry for the absense.

Solange will make the sure guard is stable and will heal, and help stash him aside and bind him.

Cepheus will tie up the guard before Solange heals his wounds use rope to tie up the blacklilly (1d20+4=17) Help me get him out of here.

You quickly heal up the guard, and make your way out. It seems the streets have become completely empty... the calm before a storm?

If it hasn't happened yet Aiken will open the window and get Hukk. Listening from behind witch door Hukk is making the noise.

Cepheus looks about for a hiding place to stash the captive. Not seeing anything looks to the others for an idea. We missed a part of the planning I think.
