T'Ranis turns to enter the office once more. As he opens the door, he hears a shout of "There's one! Get him!"

Already, a few lightly-armoured warriors are entering the office, and three of the crossbowmen loose bolts. They slam into the door, and T'Ranis ducks for cover in the hallway.

A quick glance tells him that there are at least five soldiers in the room already, and two of the small aircabs are offloading more into the room. Perhaps the second prisoner is a lost cause?

The crewmember, of course, is standing in the hallway with T'Ranis, promptly grabbing at his sleeve. "See what I mean? We need to get out of here, with all due respect! Sir."

***

The rest of the group starts making their way down the hallway. A few of the doors have opened, and curious heads peek out, until they see the bodies outside Graff's office. Then, they close the doors. And lock them audibly.

The prisoner, still with ropes dangling from his wrists, casts nervous glances backwards as you dash down the halls. "We're not going to make it. We're not going to make it..."

Up ahead, you can hear the sound of metal on metal, and explosions coming from the landing. Cries of pain and distress are also clearly audible.

OOC: Any particular marching order?

Haltash would have been in the middle too, but as not everyone can be in the middle, he will go to the front (except if someone want to do so, he'll be second), still having his crossbow in hands.

The group soon makes their way out onto the landing, where several of Graff's crewmen are battling off small groups of soldiers. However, while these new attackers wear chain shirts and wield well-made swords and light shields, they lack the obvious skill of the previous attackers.

Of more concern, though, is the single skycab, perhaps ten feet away from the landing, that contains a single sorceress. Her raven-dark hair whips in the air, as she brings down blackened rays of energy upon Graff's men. One ray, seemingly darker than pure night, strikes the sailor, and seems to drain the very strength from his body. He can no longer press the attack against the mailed soldier, and weeps in frustration.

There are, upon a quick count, eight of Graff's crewmen, plus the crewman that accompanies you, and Rukus. There are at least fifteen soldiers on the ground - and you can hear some coming from the hallway behind you. In fact, Guardian can see at least ten, slowly and methodicaly making their way down the halls, breaking down doors and filtering into other rooms.

And more skycabs are on their way....

"LOOK!" Rukus shouts. He points to a proud airship, already making it's way through the spires of Sharn at breakneck speed.

It is a single airship, much like any other airship, with one noticeable feature - it lacks an elemental fire ring, instead possessing a full set of sails, like a traditional ocean-going ship. There is a huge, swivel-mounted crossbow at it's rear, and a towering man with a disheveled look aims it at one of the nearby skycabs and looses a bolt. The ballista bolt slams into the side of the cab, and causes it to spire earthwards - although the natural buoyancy of the wood means that those aboard will probably survive the collision.

"The Majestic!" Rukus shouts. "We just need to hold out for a few seconds more, boys! A FEW SECONDS MORE!"

OOC: The ship will be within 50 feet at the end of the first round of combat, and within 10 feet at the end of the second. Can I get initiatives, and general actions? There are three groups of crewman (group A, B, and C), each consisting of 2 or 3 men, fighting groups of 5 soldiers. There is a clear path to the open balcony landing where the Majestic approaches. There are also columned pillars most everywhere, holding up the next floor - thirty feet above you.
