T'Ranis glances at the other adventurers.

"Shall we head toward the monastery? Or perhaps the fire brigaid?"

"I suggest the warehouse first, then the Monastery. The monastery can hold for a moment. And it seems teh main target of teh hobgoblin, so we might know why they are attacking. The fire, it's sad to lose house, but it's only material. The hobgoblin are killing too, even if some people here have no remorse of letting some innocent to be killed, we should at least try to save some." replies haltash to T'Ranis, making sure Graff hear his last sentence.

"You are certain then that one side is the more innocent? Fascinating."

T'Ranis thinks it over. Circumstances do suggest that this battle is taking place on the human's own territory, and if this is part of a larger conflict that would indicate the humans are losing. Perhaps Haltash simply prefers the underdog. Unless... T'Ranis looks Haltash over. Are the inhabitants of the Black Pit members of Haltash's tribe or sect? Perhaps so. Surely it must be proper behavior, having made an alliance in this impromptu mercenary group, to defend the relations of his teammates. In any event, T'Ranis does not believe he has made any obligation which would require him to protect the Hoboblins, and it is his duty to hone his skills for the day when he may face the lords of madness. As he recalls, Hobgoblins have a long and honorable military tradition. They are most likely worthy adversaries.

Seeing the ship heading for the Black Pit, and estimating Disembarkation to be no more than a few minutes off, T'Ranis manifests Inertial Armor. (His AC is now 19.)

OOC: Guardian has already made his vote for heading to the monastery, but will defer to the majority if his companions feel different.

OOC: Among the humans body, do we see civilan woman bodies? Civilian children bodies?

A few women have been cut down, but they seemed well-armed. Most of the women and children (as well as some men, and a lot of the infirm) are on the roofs, waving for help in the thickening smoke.

"Why don't we drop off the few refugees at the monistary? They can likely care for them, and the monistary might have some information we can use as well." Lori suggests.

I think it's imperative that we get into action immediately... the Majestic doesn't need us on it to pick up refugees. Also, the DM said that the Majestic can only drop us off in two locations.

Shadow waits and watches, as this conflict does not concern him and he knows little of what is going on down there.

It had to be asked.
