I like the sheet, but would you consider custom character portraits (for an increased cost, of course)?

That's part of 'THE PLAN' as it were. Check out my website www.toddschumacher.com and goto the 'commissions' page. It's all detailed there. Everyithing is temporary...tennetive (sp?) until I get this sheet nailed. Right now I'm looking at adding field forms w/ limited calculations...that might take a while to do :) But if you absolutly, positivly need a drawing now with the current sheet .... give me an e-mail.

Well hopefully it will post this time, last time I had to go to your messageboard to post! :)

The top looks *much* nicer with that spacing in my opinion, and now the only real big change I recommend is to slim the width of the border on the boxes.

Well, also I think you should slim down the feats / special abilities and give more room to equipment, and also change the coins area to a larger 'treasure' box, so you have more room to write things down.

Any idea on pricing?

That's a danged good looking character sheet. Add in the skills from the Expanded Psionics Handbook (I'd like Oriental Adventures, too..but hey...I'll take what I can get), and I'd use it! It's easy to read, no clutter to confuse the eye... good job!

The sheet looks good (like the keep it simple style :)), but what if a cleric gains a third domain, or you want to write down your familiar/animal companion, keep some notes? :)

There is not enough room to write down classes for multiclass characters. You'd have to use abbreviations. I'd use one full line only for classes and level.

I generally dislike portions, which only apply to single character classes (the cleric domains/turning stuff specifically). It should at least be useful for a couple classes (i.e. like spellcasting). I'd do away with the cleric section and use it for something else. Domains can be listed under special abilities. Turning can be looked up in the book.

Also, personally I prefer a 2 page sheet, which has enough room to write down prepared spells (or known spells for a sorcerer). A spellbook needs a seperate sheet, for obvious reasons, but not everyone with spells needs that much room (actually, only wizards really do), so a small section (kinda like on the official sheet, maybe a bit more) on the first 2 pages would be nice.

For the extra "spellbook sheet" it would be good to add some columns for important information (i.e. range, duration, save, spell resistance), doesn't need to be much room, a one-letter space is enough for most of these.

One thing I totally like from Claudio Poza's character sheet, which I am currently using (it has a few flaws, but nothing major), is the area where the body slots are listed and you can write down what item is worn where.

That's all I can think of right now. :)

Oh, there's a typo. It's Deity not Diet-y (;)).

Bye

One thing I'd love to see in a character sheet is a section like that for equipment, but for levels. You could have something like this:
Level Class Total Levels Skill Points Hit Dice
1 Fighter 1 (2*4) d10
2 Rogue 1 8 d6
3 Fighter 2/1 2 d10
4 Rogue 2/2 8 d6
5 Fighter 3/2 2 d10
It's been a part of my personal sheets for years now. Check out this version from years ago (page 2). I use a version of that page to create my major NPCs. (The linked sheet hasn't been updated to 3.5. I think I've gone through 5-6 versions since then.)

Oh, yeah,

Todd, I'm not a fan of the Cleric Domains on page 3. Players can just put the domain spells in the spell list and put a D next to the level of the domain spells. What do they do when they take a prestige class that grants a 3rd domain?

Also, there needs to be more room for notes containing exceptions. For example, the Spell saving throw DC box is isolated in the upper left of the page with no room around it for notes like "+1 to Evocations due to Spell Focus (Evocation)".

But, then, if you looked at my previous post, you know I like a busy sheet. I'm not your target audience anyway. I can't imagine actually writing a character sheet in pencil/pen ever again since I started putting them together in a word processor in late 80s. (My handwriting stinks.)

I think that the saves and armour/shield could go under the attacks. Also maybe split the third into other attack options? Sometimes my players would just pick up weapons and want to use them.

Maybe bigger boxes for weight and cost, on the equipment part, so when you erase them you aren't left trying to write tiny-ly over smuge marks.
