Want to play some OLD SKOOL D&D?

Would you be interested in playing in an "old school" RC D&D game?

  • Sure, with the right group, could be fun. I'd try it out.

Well, if the circumstances were right I would love to play some Old Skool.

Prolly not 2e- either 1st ed, basic or true od&d.

Frankly, I would especially enjoy getting into diaglo's game! :D

In the past, I have had no interest in any pre-3e game.

But then along came diaglo. Now, his OD&D game is a little over a year old, meets almost twice per month, and we just finished a major story arc.

Nope, wouldn't touch any older editions. "OLD SKOOL" D&D nearly drove me from the rpg hobby entirely once, I'm not going to give it a second chance.

look to the Gamers seeking Gamers forum. Currently refereeing an OD&D(1974) campaign.

took me 7 years of posting on various message boards and running ads until i finally found enough players.

I'd play in a RC D&D campaign. It was a good little system, for all it's flaws.

If I lived in the right area, I'd gladly play in diaglo's OD&D campaign - I'd certainly know the GM was passionate about his efforts! :D

AD&D? I'd do it for Spelljammer, if I had no other alternatives.

I'd much rather play another system, though, be it d20, SilCore, HERO, True20, whatever. Something that didn't shoehorn me into allegedly "classic fantasy archetypes" that, IMO, aren't.

Enough by OD&D standards, or enough by 1e standards? ;)

Been meaning to ask you: since the original D&D game was presented as mere guidelines and allowed for very free-form game-play, what house rules do you use in your campaign?
