Yeah that would make sense because Blizzard did the same thing with the Diablo world. I should probably wait until it comes out.

Yup, save yourself some trouble. I also imagine WC will be done better than Diablo was... WotC has gotten plenty of practice at d20 campaign settings since DII.

let's not beat around the bush, shall we? Diablo was terrible:eek:, WC has to better...

i wonder how they'll handle PCs. i can't imagine a group of PCs would start with the kind of power the WCIII heroes had (relative to every other unit)

i also wonder if the abilities of the individual WCIII units will be PrCs, if so, i know what i'll be looking out for!

:D :D MORTAR COMBAT! :D :D

I have a feeling Hero classes will be PrCs, and that you start as Grunts, Footmen, etc. For a hint of that, note the Thane and Blademaster PrCs from Dragon. I bet those two will be in the book as is.

And yeah, DII:RPG reeked worse than Tal Rasha's breath. :) Good thing the soundtrack was good - that way I got something nice outta buying the Collector's Edition. ;)

Oh, and for me... Vengeance for Zul'Jin!!

lol! agreed, though I did find some good uses for some monsters and items in a 2e/3e (PHb just came out).

the black knights I used a lot, ... and a +1 battle axe with poison nova ... as a standard action you could smack the pommel on the ground (THOR!) and a burst of green wispy force would spread out (forget distance) and cause everyone except the user to make a save (fort DC 15) or take x dmg ...

that was a fun game ... although, with 3e stats I'm sure the G1-2 (didn't make it to 3) series would have been a lot tougher for them!
