Warhammer d20

Overall I think the titles of careers add more to the game than anything else. They tell a story, what a person did, what he has become.
This makes me think of defining Conan by all his awful pastiche books' titles -- Conan the...Barbarian, Destroyer, Pirate, etc.

There's Grim Tales, which might give a similar feel to what you're looking for.

Offhand, one possible drawback is its modified from d20 Modern (each stat becomes a 20 level class instead of the baseline 10). However I do recall finding a D&D to d20 Modern class conversion somewhere but I don't remember the site.

:D well with the re-birth of WHFR you knew it would return ;)

I have run a couple of WH game in D&D3.0 and GURPS, AND now with Conan, Grim Tales and the Black Company I really think you could run a kewl Warhammer game with d20 and I have been thinking about it again...

All this talk of Warhammer has broken me down AND so I am going to run a game using Grim Tales over in PBP games (just posted over there)

I think Grim Tales, with some modifying, should work REAL well :D
