tell ya the truth, im not a fan of new base classes.

Me neither. I'd just as soon stick with the ones from the PHB, minus the monk. In my next campaign I'll be having the players start as one of three basic classes (Aristocrat, Warrior or Expert) and roleplay their way into one of the 15 level prestige classes I'm working on.
