Part 3 on our series based on Rome. For a long time now I've been thinking about Warlocks and their place in D&D. I came to the conclusion that if I was in control of "Dark Sun" or "Al Qadim" i'd probably make the Templar and the Sha'ir respectively Warlocks. They fit the fluff a little better (Sorcerer Kings and Genies being the patrons that grant spells). Which made me think, why don't we see more settings with really strongly themed Warlocks? I like the ones in the PHB, but the best one by far is the Undying, and thats mostly because, to me it is dripping with Eberron Undying Court flavor.
