Warshaper limits

Does anyone have any idea on a reasonable limit for the number of extra nat attacks you can get with a warshaper?

I was thinking for example, 1 tail, 1 pair of horns per head, 1 claw per arm, 2 wings, 1 bite per head.......tentacles im not sure........

When a warshaper grows morphic weapons, they give it "a natural attack." That's it.


Agreed. Considering the obscenity of allowing the alternative (let's see, I'll spend 1 minute to grow 20 natural weapons, giving me an additional 20 attacks per round!!!111!11one!!1!), one natural attack is perfectly viable -- hell, it can even increase the damage of an existing natural weapon.

One natural attack is not, IMHO, overpowered, considering a character can theoretically enter the PrC at 5th level (changeling, 4 levels of a full BAB class). Multiple natural weapons, on the other hand, make it a "must have" 1-level dip. Of course, YMMV.

RAW I agree its one

for flavour I dont see a reason to limit the number of appenages you can grow as long as you explain how your body will support and function with them.

set a max number of natural attacks your DM is happy with.

also limit the size increasing of exiting natural weapons by some limit as well.


Bottom line if your smart and keep your combat damage potential in line with your fellow party members then it will never be an issue how many limbs you grow as niether the DM or party member will ever complain.

In this case self restraint is the key to a good charcter
