Early Will & Grace from the late-1990s, with a fax and "camera phones" and so on, compared with late Will & Grace from 2020.
I never realized that show came back in 2017 for a couple of years. Would be fun to watch some episodes from 1998 and jump to 2020.

As I've noted elsewhere I binge Law and Order and you can watch the years go by the fact that they used pay phones to check in, to the police cars and even the type of cases, they worked on. Even NYC changed over time.
L&O is on at least one channel all day, every day. In fact, I'm watching it right now. Even though I've seen just about every episode of the original, SVU and Criminal Intent, I still watch them when they are on. Trial by Jury never re-airs at least not that I've seen, nor does L&O: LA. Apparently there is a L&O: Toronto but I've never seen it. If I'm not mistaken, I think there is even a British adaptation, but I've only caught it once. I couldn't get into the revival of the original or Organized Crime; it's almost like they should've left well enough alone.

I remember binge watching reruns in the 90s when I was hungover. Hard to believe that was 30 years ago and how much things have changed IRL, but yet in some ways are still the same. I caught a few episodes of season one a few weeks back and it pretty interesting to see how the show was still finding its legs, how some actors that were in one episode ended up playing other characters as series regulars later in the run. Another thing is seeing the guest stars that were relatively unknown when they were on the show who are now major stars; there's quite a few. I always feel kind of old when I see an episode and remember the actual real-world event that the plot was based on and then some random thought or memory pops into my head from that time.

And it has one of the best opening theme songs ever, and Briscoe has the best one liners.

Law and Order: UK with Freema Agyeman, I stopped watching SVU in a few seasons in, same with CI. Life got in the way and I never got back into watching them.

I mostly watched them all in re-runs myself. I don't recall ever watching them in prime time regularly. Nowadays I'm not even sure which ones are still or what night. I did watch for a while when the revival and Organized Crime first aired but haven't watched them in a few years. They all seemed dated, and the characters were uninteresting. Reminded me of the band you like that broke up and then release an album 15-20 years later and it just doesn't live up to their previous work.

Supernatural is stark in how much things change between episodes. Not so much with the main characters, but, whenever they go somewhere, it's funny to watch.

I'm currently on a Stargate SG1 rewatch (never really watched it the first time around) and the tech is positively stone age. They are all shocked and wowed by a UAV. Now, I HAVE a drone. I keep having to remind myself how old the show is when I think, "Gee, why don't they .... oh right..."
