Vardaal looks up and spits out the sand that had gotten into his mouth during the fall. Maybe the crushing weight of Torqua snapped the bugbear from his daydreams of ratberry pie or the sand in his mouth, but whatever the reason Vardaal manages to stand up and push himself forward.

After falling to the earth, Torqua spends a brief moment to stare up into the night sky. It's only when she wonders why the desert sand is so furry does she realize that's she's landed on a Bug Bear. Scrambling to get up, she notices the skeleton in the sand. "I guess found out what happened to the last group of scouts." She jokes, trying to lighten the mood.

DiceRoll: 2+2=4. That aint good.

The group manages to keep moving along, even with most of them exahusted.
In the darkness of night, the dunes seemed like frozen oceans, whose waves seems to be fixed in their places. Only the starrs shin in this moonless night, enough for our heroes to guide themselves.
The night passes uneventfully, and the cold gives away as the sun araises from the other side. After half an hour from the sunrise, the hot air buffets the mercenaries' faces once again, and another day of marching begins.

I'm guessing I don't get back that surge.

Kavac finds traveling on the second day easier, his body is starting to get used to the heat. Now that he is spending less of his energy just forcing a walk he spends more time looking for anything that isn't sand. The lack of any living thing starts to make Kavac feel uneasy.

They had managed a little bit of rest, here and there- mostly taking advantage of low spots where they were out of the wind. But the non-stop travel was taking a terrible toll on some of the group- they had to hope they could reach their destination before someone collapsed and could not go on.

The day's renewed heat was like a furnace, but Myoko pressed on, her training and her discipline driving her forward. She tried to voice advice and encouragement, but in the end it was her sheer tenacity that ended up being the strongest example to her new-found companions...

OOC: Endurance checks, round 3, at +9= 18, 23, 15 (3 more successes); rolls Roll Lookup

Myoko and Kavac walk without trouble for the moment, the jadite exceedingly resilient. Vardaal however, struggles to keep going, and only his hopes to find ratberry pie keeps him on his track.

Cursing the sun, Torqua struggles to keep up. Forced to keep cool, Torqua opens the bottle of wine she saving and takes a drink from it, hoping it might dull the heat of the desert sun.

OOC: End Rolls: 13 15 13. Shoulda taken Endurance as well. Roll Lookup
