You should find a way to work in the Mage Hand cantrip.

Oh, right! When I was imagining this class I thought about that but totally forgot it!

I'll work that in somehow/somewhere....

(jeopardy theme)

Done! What do you think?

Why the extra restrictions on Mage Hand? IME, it isn't powerful enough a spell to warrant that steep a cost, and seems a higher cost than the fiction it is meant to represent. I mean, Luke just kinda sucked at Move Object until Return, but the Jedi in the prequels and Clone Wars can move small stuff while running or fighting, IIRC.

Fair enough. Just felt flavorful to me but you're probably right.
Horwath: that's a good idea, too.

Yeah, I mean other Star Wars games tend to exaggerate the ease of moving stuff with the force, so it's not a terrible thought. The Force seems to be just more powerful in every source but the OT, though. I suppose it could go either way.

At some point, your Elegant Weapon + Deflect Missiles SHOULD be able to boomerang-attack. Not sure just when to fit it in.

I think that warlock class structure with monk style ki in place of spells, and some monk class features would be the perfect force user class chassis.
I don't own the DMG and am running from memory alone, but...
How about working with the 'spell points' (instead of 'spell slots') system?
