I guess some people have utterly reasonable fears which this article brings out.

I mean, they don't bother me, but I understand they can cause anxiety in a lot of gamers.

I started reading about her teacher, then skipped down to where she was talking about her DM. That part of the article was great. Her DM sounds great. Good hair. He cooks. Sense of humor. Dimples. I want to hear more about him. Also, maybe some pictures.

Er. On-topic, I'm all about conversational, anecdotal columns about broadening the appeal of D&D, and anything else that erodes the non-humorous grognardian elitism that this hobby is so rife with.

The humorous grognard elitists are allowed to stay, and should also be given a column with which to entertain us.
