D&D (2024) We can still get Bard, Paladin, Warlock, Ranger and Sorcerer spells through Fey Touched?

One of my favorite go to off list spells was Hex ... which is on the Warlock list and Dissonant Whispers from the Bard list. These are no longer available through Magic Initiate.

Following is what I read is the new wording on Fey Touched:
  • Fey Touched: +1 INT, WIS, or CHA. You learn Misty Step and one Level 1 Divination or Enchantment spell. You can cast either spell once per Long Rest without expending a spell slot.

If this wording is accurate (and I am not sure it is, but it is what I got from a reviewer) then Fey Touched still allows spells from these classes .... and with the new and improved Hex this will be better than ever!

I find this to be a pleasant surprise after the big deal they made about protecting the class spell lists of those 5 classes being unique and taking them out of magic secrets and magic initiate.

I don't think Fey Touched is in the new book.

So keep using the old rules.
I saw it in the @SlyFlourish video when he just happened to absentmindedly flip to the feats section. I was specifically looking for it because Mike was lamenting how there were no mechanics in character creation (Species & Backgrounds) to make a character from the Feywild. My thought was just take an established Background and swap the default feat for Fey Touched.

EDIT: I was going to link the exact timestamp of the video, but it's now all blurred out.

It's not listed here.

Do you have a link for these? His videos on youtube don't have much info in them, he highlights a few random spells here and there but nothing comprehensive, and I didn't see anything on feats

I assume it's his patrion members getting early access to his videos.

And he will release the feat video to the public in a day or 2.
Yeah, it's Patreon content. I'll post one more thing since it is slightly relevant.

The bonus action spell rule has been replaced with this one, which makes these two feats a little nicer.
