Weapon Harness/Hitpoints

I'm not sure how this works; according to the DMG, on Page 222, a magic weapon has +2 Hardness and +10 Hit Points for each Enhancement Bouns. How do I count weapons which have more than one Bonus? A Bane weapon, for example, could be +1 or +3; would you count this as a +1 weapon or a +3 weapon?

The "plus" equivalency table is *only* for determining cost. It's not used for anything else.

That's not what he means.

A Bane weapon has an effective enhancement bonus two higher than normal against its chosen foe.

So your +1 Evil-Outsider-Bane longsword normal has 2 extra points of hardness for being a +1 sword. But when the Kyton tries to Sunder it, and you make an opposed attack roll, it presumably counts as a +3 longsword (since the Kyton is an Evil Outsider). The question is - if the Kyton wins the opposed roll, does the sword benefit from the 4 extra points of hardness (for the extra two plusses) against the attack from an Evil Outsider? And if so, do we treat the 20 extra hit points like temporary hit points, or what?
