No reason a fighter couldn’t stick a candle on their helmet. It’s likely to be lost in a fight, but they can replace it afterwards. A helmet designed for a candle would have a spike to hold it in place. Miners have to do some pretty physical stuff.candles are solid fuel, mostly. and miner do not perform cartwheels while shooting crossbows and dodging fireballs.
