Good luck. I switched to OpenRPG even before the WebRPG switch to a pay model, but the more services that are available, the better.

I used to dig on WebRPG back in the day, switched to Open when Web went pay, but found that Open crashed too much for me to want to stick wih it.

Now I've got PbP games going as well as a RL group (finally!) so I have no interest in going back to Online Tabletop services, but WebRPG is a really good product, IMO. If you're using Open, I suggest that you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't at least give Web a look-see.

Well, I tried to install it but it won't work for me. Wierd, and obviously just me.

As both OpenRPG and WebRPG crash at times (more for some people than others), does WebRPG still freeze everyone in the room if the DM crashes? That was the original reason I switched to OpenRPG, because if the DM crashes the room and players' computers all stay up. WebRPG's switch to a pay model just cemented OpenRPG as my solution, it wasn't the reason I switched.

I agree that if you are only familiar with OpenRPG, you should check out WebRPG. The only real differences are things for which personal preference is the deciding factor Both ought to be in the online gamer's arsenal.

I used to be a moderator there, but gave up when everything went commercial, along with the bulk of my peers.
