You can make a hosted forum open, so anybody, registered user or not, can view it. And even if you make it closed, all it takes is a password, which you can easily give to all prospective players. Just make it something easy like "d20."infax said:@BardStephenFox
For now I`d rather have the forums more public. I have some prospective players and would like them to come by and see how the game is going. If they have to create an account or log in to read about the game it may prove to be an additional barrier.
Now the ENWorld hosted site can be a very good idea. As you said a place where I come every day. I was looking for a place for free but I can dig up some money to contribute to ENWorld !
I`m still looking for ideas anyway.
But if you want a hosted forum to be open, just talk to Morrus, I'm sure it can be done. And I'm part of BardStephenFox's gourp, and he's right, the hosted forums are great.
