Wednesday Night ENworld Gathering

Well, since I'll be arriving late Wednesday afternoon, and I'm staying at the Embassy too, I shall see all of you at the Canadiana Suite, with my camera and perhaps with some sort of tasty (even though not Canadian) treat.

ARRRRRRGHHHHHH!!!! Sorry...I already posted my bringing something nice for the host. In the other thread:D

I will be there, in all my blueness.;)

And I should not bring my Xbox, I take it?:)

Location of the Canadiana Suite

Once we have checked into our room, we will leave a note at the ENnies booth saying which room # it is.

On Friday on the way back from the city we'll be stopping by a small town called St-Albert to pick up some genuinely fresh and squeaky cheese curds (6 bags- one for each night, with extras for Wednesday and Saturday night) for poutine.

Here's a little safety tip for those going to GenCon and leaving your spouse behind: Don't say, "Man, I can't wait to get my mouth on some of Dextra's poutine!" when your wife is not familiar with Canadian specialty dishes.

Would an Indy-native lurker and his husband be welcome? We're generally polite, housetrained, and rather introverted... at least until someone breaks out the Fluxx deck. Then all bets are off! :D

Since we have easy access to the local stores, we'd be willing to pitch in -- drinks, munchies, etc.

Without getting into politics, HECK YES.

We are one of the few countries in the world that recognizes same-sex marriage.

Like I said, the only reason I'm not crashig your shindig later on that weekend is I have my duties at the Canadiana Suite.

Oh, and I have my FLUXX deck.

Esepcially when you start talking about how greasy and gooey it is... or start talking about the squeaky chewy lumps of cheese in it.

That may just get nasty.

There's not a lot of room in the suite, although we're planning on moving the dining table out to make more space.
Besides, my kids'll have their PS2 with 'em.

Hmmm, polite, housetrained... are you sure you're not Canadian?

Bringing some pop and/or juice would be swell! I've got some all-dressed chips (a Canuck specialty) and a huge bag of curds suitable for making poutine with, and a bag of maple cookies for each night. Oh yeah, and we've got 56 Molson Canadian beers (too bad I don't like beer!)
