Which is what I said: you are telling people what they should like, as well as telling a whole bunch of people the game they play is “not D&D”. I think there is a word for that.

HAT isn't my D&D at all, so didn't get my vote...

Pretty straight forward. HAT isn't MY D&D, which is the point of the thread, each individual's D&D. So, I didn't vote for it... and guessing from the number of votes cast and how many other things got, not to mention the number of people who listed what they did vote for... which did NOT include HAT, I think this part is valid:

Which it didn't, and I believe continue to not get votes. Yes, many will vote for it, but it seems many will NOT.

It's a joke for me, and a bad one, not D&D.

And I did think the movie was a joke. I didn't like it. It was a total mess IMO. You've acknowledged I can have my opinion, so no issue there I think.

Finally, again, for me, not D&D. Other people play "their D&D" which is also not my D&D.

So, none of the things you're reading (for whatever reason) in my post is not at all what I said.

I never told others what they should like, nor did I tell anyone the game they play is not D&D FOR THEM.

Probably too little, too late but I added Legend. I can't believe I forgot it. I love that movie and definitely fits in "my D&D" with the way the fey and Darkness are presented.

Not only did you pass judgement on other people's games, intentionally or not, you're -dead- wrong. And you have been since you made that post. D&D HAT has been the number one pick for most of the day. It's nearest competitor, arguably three better films tied to a massive cultural legacy that helped -birth- D&D in the first place, is down by 7%.

And I know. 'Cause I put in the first vote where it was tied with Big Trouble and Pirates.

To elaborate on Red Sonja. That movie could have been amazing. I remember watching it as a kid. Wanting so much to like it. They should have just cast Sandahl Bergman as Red Sonja instead of as the villain. She was much more suited to the role, she had established chemistry with Arnold. And the script really needed work

I always thought that Curse of the Black Pearl felt like right out of Ravenloft
