Hello.
I started playing D&D a gazillion years ago, when by brother bought the Red Box. After graduating from High School, real life took up too much of my time and I moved around a lot. In the last couple of years I have gotten back into D&D with the fifth edition. Unable to find a local group or even a Friendly Local Game Store (FLGS), I took up the mantel of Dungeon Master and created my own group. At first it was just a couple of co-workers. Then I moved again and corrupted my children into playing. What started out as me and two players has exploded into myself DM-ing for a ten player group.
I have recently begun researching to see what it would take to open my own FLGS.

Aloha~! I found out about D&D for the first time when I picked up 4e when it first came out; I was at the bookstore with a voucher, and I could get the starter kit without paying a single cent at all. Played for a few years with my friends after that, but then we all graduated and started working and it got increasingly harder to meet up and play.
I'm trying to start a play-by-post 4e game going with my friends now (one of them is presently studying overseas), so I figured I should make an account again because I'm quite out of touch with D&D in general. I've not delved into 5e yet... is it much better than 4e?

Hello, everyone! I'm a new convert to tabletop RPGs. I've been a player in D&D and the Dresden Files RPG, but I'm going to try my hand at writing my own campaign. GM Tips said that this was a great resource and here I am

Welcome to all on page 38; especially the band from Italy.
I know very little Italian; bit in Monaco, they speak French and Italian pretty easily, so I learned this when I was at the Casino:
Benvenuto! Buona fortuna e buon gioco. "Welcome! Good luck and good gaming."
Maybe all my Latin classes at Catholic High School made it easier to remember the Italian over the French.
I'd like to think that anyway.

Hi fellow (A)D&D #.# players,
Just found this site after finally finding a new group to play with.
Played 2nd edition AD&D almost the whole 90s.
The team fell apart in 1999 and didn't play since (not for lack of trying).
I'm really itching to get back at being a DM
Thinking of combining the Forgotten Realms with a touch of Spelljammer and making this one epic campaign(hopefully not the last).
