Welcome to ENWorld 2

Whenever I reply to thread, the default text colour is black (including any quoted text), which makes it difficult to read since the background is black as well. I have to change it manually every time. Is it something I've done wrong?

From the meta forum I gather it has something to do with my browser version. I'll try updating to see what happens.

Strangely, I have this too. But I didn't have it yesterday.

I love how when I logged back in I was greeted by a huge "WELCOME BACK ULRICK TO ENWORLD" and followed by the announcement. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I also think having blogs is a great idea.

Two thumbs up.

Old links are busted

ENWorld's forums are full of smart people writing smart things. So naturally there are a huge number of bookmarks and links to specific smart things people wanted to save for later. Since the upgrade, all of these links appear to be dead. My own bookmarks lead to the 404 page. Links in other discussions lead to the 404 page. This seems most unfortunate, as all of those old links from outside ENWorld pointing at ENWorld goodness is now busted. Someone who arrives looking for a useful font of icons for 4e (say from http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?p=16025975 ) will arrive and be told that it's 404. Is it possible to rig up a system to redirect from the old post URLs to the new URLs?

The front page doesn't display correctly for me, because of that "the text is too big for the box" issue. Actually, because of that problem I can't click on some of the "read more" options.

I am currently using Safari 3.1.1 as my browser, if that helps at all. I don't recall ever changing the default font sizes or anything, either.

We'll see if that's possible if so, we'll do it.

In the meantime, the URLs can be corrected manually by adding /forum/ into the middle of them.

I have my doubts. If you're _very_ lucky, it might be possible to update old links to the new scheme. I think the subfolders have changed a little, nowadays its www.enworld.org/forum/*stuff*, and it was different before the update.

Update: Strange, my first try failed, but the second worked. Since I have been ninjaed by Morrus, take his word for it. ;)
