Hi everyone, Ross from Weird Specialty Games here, introducing my newest tabletop RPG: 'Warped'!

Inspired by the universe-shifting madness of Everything Everywhere All At Once, Rick and Morty and The Spiderverse, ‘Warped’ is a tabletop roleplaying game about dealing with the chaos of the Multiverse, performing daring missions and using the unpredictability of infinite possibility to your advantage. Explore wild worlds, fight off foes and swap places with alternate reality versions of yourself to get the job done. In 'Warped', you battle across the Multiverse by switching places with alternate universe versions of yourself. One minute you're playing as a Cybersoldier from a futuristic dystopia, the next you're a Gunslinger from the old west, the next you're Made of Ice Cream, a Zombie or an Unfathomable Monolith of great celestial power. There are 100 different forms to choose from and 4000000 different combinations in the base game!

As an overview, 'Warped' is a d20 game that focuses on speed, simplicity and dynamic combat. Just make your Checks, add your current Form's Stats to the roll and the GM will let you know if you succeed or fail. There are no detailed distance measurements, carry weights or resource tracking. Powers are designed to create mobile characters, an ever-shifting battlefield, and turns that each have a distinct cinematic flair. As you switch Forms, the nature of your Powers will change, keeping gameplay perpetually fresh, exciting and unexpected.

So, how does 'Warped' play? Each Player rolls randomly to determine their Core Multiversal Form (the prime version of their PC) and then rolls for three alternate reality variants of that character. As they play, they will swap between these forms by Rift Warping - sometimes by choice, sometimes at random - and use their powers to achieve their goals. Each Form has their own Hit Points, Statistics, Equipment and Powers, so the form that you're currently playing will hugely impact your play experience.

As your adventures get more and more chaotic, the Chaos Meter will increase. Whenever a PC rolls a Natural 1 or 20 on a Check, a number is added to the Meter. When it is full, the pent up energy of chance and possibility explodes - bathing the scene in unstable Multiversal Energy. This will instantly cause all PCs to Rift Warp, adding an unpredictable, chaotic edge to combat. Not only that, but the Chaos Meter can also warp the world around you: providing your enemies with wild new powers and causing unpredictable shifts in the nearby terrain. One minute you could be playing as an Unstable Clone fighting molemen in a concrete bunker, the Chaos Meter hits and suddenly you're a Dog, the molemen can teleport and the tunnel around you has transformed into a subterranean bouncy castle.

Thanks so much! I'm having such a blast creating the graphic design - the amount of bizarre and diverse forms and locations in the Multiverse means that I really get to flex my creative muscles. It's genuinely so much fun and keeps me really motivated!
